MediaTek has become the first IC design company in Taiwan to have its near-term and net-zero targets, aligned with the 1.5掳C pathway of the , validated by the the (SBTi). MediaTek has committed to reduce its absolute Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 42% by 2030 from a 2023 base year, and to achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050.
Since 2022, MediaTek has advanced its net-zero pathway through green design, energy conservation, carbon reduction, and sustainable supply chain management. These actions reflect our commitment to science-based emissions reduction and net-zero targets.
