On Thursday, July 3rd, MediaTek Research organized a Pre-ICML workshop at University College London (UCL), providing an opportunity for researchers in the local community to present their work at the International Conference on Machine Learning (ICML). The event attracted over 100 attendees, including students, researchers, and professionals from various UK and international universities, research institutes, companies, and startups. The meetup featured two talk sessions and a poster session, followed by a vibrant networking event that facilitated inspiring discussions on AI research and fostered new connections between industry and academia in the UK. Three best poster prizes were also awarded.
It was a fantastic day filled with knowledge sharing and collaboration. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all the speakers and everyone who attended, supported, and contributed to the success of the event.
